All players must be pre-registered at eAYSO prior to signing up on registration date.

Every player will be responsible to participate in fundraising for REGION 98. Fundraising specifics will be determined in the beginning of the FALL Season.

Additional Notes:

  • A player’s division is determined by the player’s age on July 31, 2013.
  • New players will be required to provide proof of birth date.
  • Please bring ONE signed copy of your child’s registration form
  • Optional: Please bring used uniforms so that we may donate them to developing soccer programs.

For specific age divisions, other registration requirements and forms, or any other questions concerning registration, please visit the Region 98 website at www.ayso98.org.

Because of the expected large number of sign-ups and due to the shortage of coaches in some divisions, Region 98 may be forced to limit the number of registrations for the upcoming season. Priority would be given to players whose families volunteer their time to our program.

AYSO is an all-volunteer organization and Region 98 is always looking for people to step up and help in our effort to improve the program.

VIP Is Looking for Some Very Special Kids!

The AYSO Very Important Players (VIP) Program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. We realize that special schools and classrooms often isolate children with physical and mental challenges. We are here to help bring these children together to get plenty of exercise, learn the game of soccer, and experience the joy of being part of a team!

VIP is highly adaptive, with every effort made to ensure that all children who participate play up to their own full potential. VIP teams may include players who are visually impaired, hearing impaired, amputees, mentally challenged, autistic, and kids with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other conditions that impair mobility, strength, and/or comprehension.

If you know of a child interested in VIP, or if you would like to volunteer, please contact Carol Casey, VIP coordinator, at (626) 484-2887. We want to make sure that Everyone Plays!
