ATTENTION SOCCER MOMS, DADS AND OTHER FANS OF THE GAME:
AYSO Region 40 is organizing an adult soccer league for the spring season, and we would like to invite you to join! The league not only will help to raise funds for our region's youth soccer program, but also will afford an excellent opportunity to play soccer on an organized team. What?
The league will be organized into multiple teams (depending on the number of participants) with approximately 15 players per team (for liberal substitution). Each team will play 8 regular season games and will subsequently participate in a playoff tournament. Teams will be supplied with a numbered jersey to use during the season, and referees will be supplied at the games.
Where?
While fields will need to be confirmed, we will have access to at least two fields in the city of San Gabriel .
When?
Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons, from the beginning of March until the end of April.
Who?
The league is open to anyone 21 years or older in the local community. And note that we are inviting the ladies as well as the men, with special rules being enforced to allow the women to become potential MVPs of their teams...
How much?
The cost will be $130 per person, which covers the cost of preparing fields and hiring referees for 8 games plus playoff games. As mentioned, a substantial portion of this money will go to our region's youth soccer program.
Why?
The proceeds of this league will go toward the AYSO Region 40 youth soccer program, in order to fund such costs as uniforms, equipment, training, etc. Equally important, the league will serve as a great opportunity to meet other people within Region 40 and across the larger community. Finally, the league will provide an excellent opportunity to participate in the "beautiful game." Many of you have coached it or refereed it, so here's the chance to play the world's most popular sport as well!

QUE?
La liga se organizara en multiples equipos con aproximadamente 15 jugadores por equipo (para la substitucion de jugadores ). Cada equipo jugara 8 juegos regulares y juegos adicionales para equipos que califiquen a la ligilla. La liga proveera playeras numeradas y arbitros.
DONDE
Aunque las canchas tendran que ser reservadas y confirmadas, tendremos por lo menos dos canchas en la ciudad de San Gabriel.
QUANDO
Sabado y / o domingo por las tardes, empezando a principios de marzo hasta fines de abril.
QUIEN
Las inscripciones son abiertas a toda persona de 21 anos o mayores de nuestra comunidad. Hombres y mujeres son bienvenidos. Se ejerceran reglas especiales para que todo participante pueda recibir el premio de Mejor Jugador, y asi no exista imparcialidad o desventaja.
CUANTO
El costo es de $130 por persona, que cubrira el costo de preparer las canchas, contratar arbirtos para 8 juegos, incluyendo los juegos de ligilla. Como ya se menciono anteriormente, una grande parte del costo servira como ingresos para el programa de jovenes de la region.
PORQUE
Los fondos de esta liga seran ingresos para el programa de futbol de jovenes, AYSO Region 40 que se usaran para cubrir los gastos de uniformes, equipo, entrenamiento etc. Igual de importante, la liga tambien servira como una buena oportunidad para que mas personas dentro de la Region 40 y atraves de la comunidad en general puedan conocerse. Finalmente, la liga proveera una excelente oportunidad para que adultos participen en este hermoso deporte. Muchos de ustedes han participado como entrenadores o arbitros, y ahora exista la oportunidad de jugar el deporte mas popular del mundo!!
