She also served on the AYSO Area 1-C (West San Gabriel Valley) Board of Directors. “Acute Myeloid Leukemia hit our family like a ton of bricks when I was diagnosed, but with lots of prayers and support from family, friends and the AYSO community, my family and I are dealing with AML one day at a time. I am in need of a bone marrow transplant and need a matching donor.”- Vicki

Patients need you! For thousands with blood cancers like leukemia or other diseases like sickle cell anemia, a marrow transplant is their only hope for life. If you have diverse ancestry, patients especially need you because they are most likely to match someone who shares their heritage.

AYSO is an all-volunteer-run organization. To insure we give our kids the very best experience, we need all teams to help with their refereeing assignments.
The link above takes you to a collection of spreadsheets which contains the weekly referee assignments for the remainder of the season. In general:
Each team is responsible for refereeing the next game:
On the schedule, all yellow slots remain to be assigned. Slots denoted with ">REGION" will be assigned by the Region. All slots denoted with an assigned team, such as ">Dave Lemos", are responsible for providing a referee.
If your team is assigned a game, please enter in the referee names into the corresponding assignments to CONFIRM that the referees will be present. This allows us to easier identify games which will require stand-in referees.
For each game worked, referees will earn points for their designated teams: 1.0 point for a Referee, and 0.5 points for each AR.
If your team fails to earn its maximum 1.0 weekly referee point, you can work additional games to catch up, but your team can only makeup 1.0 points per week, so be sure not to fall too far behind in your refereeing!
The U5 Jamboree Program begins this Saturday, 9/13, from 8:00 to 9:30 am, and runs through 11/1. We will have a large U5 Jamboree flag where everyone will meet at the U5/U6 field at the south end of the park. All kids will need to wear their shin guards and soccer cleats and be dressed in their uniforms. Leading our U5 Jamboree this year will be the number one professional British Soccer Camp trainers from Challenger Sports.
Soccer is for people of all ages – even the little ones! Several years ago, AYSO created Jamboree, or the U-5 program, for four-year-olds. In Jamboree, children get to play soccer in an age-specific program, and you, the parents, get to participate with them.
